Wholesale Terms
Thank you for your interest in wholesaling with us. The following terms are REQUIRED in order to carry our products in your store.
- Order Limits: The REQUIRED order amount is $500. You may pass this limit but you may not place any orders under this limit.
- Required Markup: There is a REQUIRED Markup of 100% of your purchase price. For example, If you order an item for $100, you MUST sell the item at $200 or higher. You may absolutely raise your prices above the threshhold, and that is per your discretion. You may NOT sell below double the purchase price. If you are found to be selling items below this amount your account will be cancelled immediately. We have a NO TOLERANCE policy for buy in groups. Please do not request the permission to sell our products in this format.
- Sales and Discounts: You may NOT advertise or list any markdowns, or sales on our items that add up to a final purchase price below the 100% markup. All sales and discounts must still meet the 100% markup at the time of checkout. For example, If youd like to offer a $20 discount sale on an item you bought for $100, you must list the item for $220 and offer the discount of $20 so that your customer still pays the required markup of $200 at checkout.
- Selling Platforms: While in the account approval phase we will request a complete list of Websites, Locations, Apps, Platforms and Events you will sell our products on. Once your account has been approved, Any Websites, Locations, Apps, Platforms you sell on after approval MUST receive our approval prior to listing on them. For example if you own a website and also plan to sell on Mercari, you MUST give us both URLs prior to listing on both locations. To update your account to include all locations, websites, and platforms please email Wholesale@HauteSouthernHyde.com with your Business Name, Physical name, and a description of where you intend to sell our items. We will get back to you asap. There is zero tolerance for not following these terms. All accounts who do not follow these terms will be cancelled immediately.
- Forbidden Selling Platforms: All stores are forbidden to sell our products, altered or unaltered on Etsy. If you list or sell our products on Etsy your account will be cancelled immediately.
- Returns and Exchanges: We do not accept returns or exchanges. The only time in which we will exchange a product is if there is a major manufacturing defect brought to our attention within three business days of item delivery. All handmade leather items will absolutely have imperfections. Each item is handmade and hand painted. Genuine leather will have flaws as animals may have been branded, scraped, scarred etc. There will be differences due to wrinkles, markings, injuries, textures, hair lengths etc. This is what makes your item incredibly special and unique. Each item is truly one of a kind. Please do not order if you are not okay with minor issues like this. Tooled pieces as well are each unique and during the tooling process it may incur some scratches, dents, etc. Each piece will be one of a kind. Hand painted items will have imperfections. They may go outside of a line or not completely fill a line. New pieces may slightly vary in the hue of the paint. This is definitely to be expected when you are purchasing out handmade products so do keep this in mind. Raw backed items (hair on fringe with original suede backing) may have markings on the back of the cowhide. A Major Flaw or defect affects usability.
- Cancellations: We do NOT cancel orders under any circumstances.
- Processing Times : We will do our best to get your order shipped out within 5 business days. If we need to go longer than this time we will reach out via email. All orders are hand packed and shipped directly from California.
- Zip Code Protection We do not offer zip code protection
- Rights to Refuse service: We reserve the rights to refuse service to or cancel an account of any person, persons, or business at any time for any reason.
- Terms and Conditions: We reserve the right to change or modify these conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the website. Any changes to an item will be updated on the product page.
- ERRORS, INACCURACIES AND OMISSIONS. Occasionally there may be information in the Service that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions, and to change or update information if any information in the Service or on any related website is inaccurate at any time without prior notice. We undertake no obligation to update, amend or clarify information in the Service or on any related website, including without limitation, except as required by law. No specified update or refresh date applied in the Service or on any related website, should be taken to indicate that all information in the Service or on any related website has been modified or updated.
- AGE OF CONSENT. Access to this site is available only to individuals who can enter into legally binding contracts under the applicable law. The Application is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age (or the applicable age of majority if greater than 18 years of age). If you are under 18 years of age (or the applicable age of majority, if greater than 18 years of age) and/or you are unable to enter into legally binding contracts under the applicable law, you do not have permission to use and/or access this website or our products.
